Our products are strictly tested – by teams of engineers and by people who use them every day. At hansgrohe’s in-house laboratory, faucets, showers, thermostats, and kitchen accessories are exposed to extreme conditions to test their durability, functionality, reliability, and long-term use when in contact with household chemicals. hansgrohe hand showers are put through their paces in 20 tests. This process simulates years of daily use in just a few weeks.
hansgrohe Select, our mechanical buttons, are pressed 10,000 times per spray mode. That’s 30,000 tests for every three-spray shower.
hansgrohe prototypes and products are always tested by plumbers in field studies.
hansgrohe faucet cartridges are made in our factory. We prefer to make these kinds of crucial components ourselves.
In cleaning tests, we thoroughly check that the surfaces are resistant to the cleaning products we recommend.
